Welcome to Flores Therapy Collective!
Flores, the Spanish word for “flowers”, connects my culture and the therapy process I practice. Just like flowers, which symbolize growth, resilience and renewal, I believe healing is a journey of blossoming through life’s many seasons. Whether you are seeking therapy for emotional healing or to move forward with clarity and purpose, I offer a safe, compassionate space for you to grow and I am honored to support you in cultivating your own path to wellness and transformation.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a private, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or life transitions, therapy helps you better understand what you're carrying and how to move forward.
Together, we'll identify patterns, build coping tools, and create meaningful change at your pace. Therapy is not only about healing — it's also about discovering your strengths, increasing self-awareness, and supporting your overall well-being.
Specialties include:
Mood disorders, neurodivergence, relationships, attachment styles, codependency, grief, family of origin trauma, disordered eating, suicidal ideation, substance use, betrayal trauma and PTSD.
Play Therapy
Play therapy helps children express big feelings, process tough experiences, and build coping skills — all through play. Using toys, art, stories, and games, kids can work through challenges in a way that feels natural and safe.
With the support of a trained therapist, children learn to:
Express emotions they may not yet have words for
Solve problems and regulate their feelings
Build confidence and feel more in control
Feel supported in a safe, trusting relationship
Process experiences like grief, divorce, trauma, or school stress
Adolescent Therapy
The teen years bring rapid change — emotionally, socially, mentally, and physically. It’s a time of self-discovery, shifting relationships, academic pressures, and intense emotions that can feel overwhelming or confusing.
Therapy offers teens a safe, nonjudgmental space to express themselves, build emotional awareness, and develop skills to navigate life with more confidence and clarity.
In teen therapy, clients can:
Talk openly without fear of judgment
Manage stress, anxiety, anger, or sadness in healthier ways
Strengthen communication and problem-solving skills
Explore identity, values, and relationships
Get support through tough transitions like grief, bullying, or divorce
Even without a crisis, therapy helps teens build emotional resilience and a stronger sense of self.
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help people heal from trauma, distressing experiences, and negative self-beliefs. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation — such as eye movements or tapping — to help the brain safely reprocess painful memories. This process often reduces emotional intensity and helps clients feel less “stuck.”
EMDR is especially helpful for:
PTSD and complex trauma
Anxiety and panic
Grief and loss
Relationship wounds
Low self-worth or negative core beliefs
Many clients experience deeper, faster relief with EMDR compared to traditional therapy approaches.
Academic Transition Support
Getting ready for college can be exciting — but also overwhelming. Academic transition support sessions help teens manage stress, build confidence, and develop the emotional and executive functioning skills they need for success.
Topics may include:
Coping with anxiety or fear of the unknown
Strengthening time management and independence
Navigating academic pressure and decision-making
Preparing emotionally for life transitions
Gaining support as a first-generation college student
Each session is tailored to the teen’s needs, offering encouragement, structure, and tools to thrive during this major life step.
